I am playing along with the Mason Jar challenge at Scribbles (click above to head over)
I actually won this set a while back. I always want to play along with more challenges but always seem to be playing catch up with design team obligations. But this summer I've lost some teams due to challenge blogs shutting down...so, I have more time!
I have always been drawn to mason jars, I can't tell you why, it's just something I really like.
I added crystal effects to the jar after I colored it and then used the tip to scribble through the wet lacquer to create some bubbles. The old mason jars have bubbles in the glass, that is what I was going for.
So now it's your turn, you still have some time to make your card.
I'm adding this to the I did it creations, challenge of anything goes.
I'm also adding my fox card for the Gerda Steiner challenge because I almost forgot to post him!!

Lovely cards - Congratulations!
Good luck!
I'm so glad that you got the opportunity to have some extra time to join us for the Mason Jar Challenge over at the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog, Marji. Your card turned out awesome. I love the crystal effect you added to the jar. It really gives it a 'glassy' look.
Good luck in the draw.

Fantastic card. Love how you used the glossy accent to make the mason jar look so realistic.
