Snowflake owl

I decided I wanted a Christmas owl, so I pulled out a couple of my DCWV paper stacks and pulled together some cool patterns.

I think I will put him on the top of my Christmas tree.

I was moving him around my room looking for a better place to photograph him and decided my lamp was a cool spot.  I love how the light shines on the wall. 

This is where he's hanging out until my tree gets put up.

I like the pop of red on his wings.  I decided to not ink the edges on this one, I think it's more crisp looking, like fresh snow.

I also left out the vellum in his eyes.
