Today I have a gorgeous project to share with you. I made this for my Aunt for her birthday in February.
She LOVED it as much as I do I think
The flowers are cut using a svg file from SVG cuts (there is a link at the bottom)
I used some gorgeous crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl Jam (where have you been all my life!)
Let me tell you, if you don't have any of this, get some now!! It's so pretty and soft and really nice to work with. I also picked up their bow maker and it's so much easier to make a fun and pretty bow with this tool.
This is a close up of her card, again links are at the bottom. The angel pin is stuck through the rose so if she wishes she can remove it and wear it on her lapel or put it on something else.
This is the card, another cool file from SVG cuts. the paper is a new stack from DCWV called, The Delightful Stack. I got mine at Joann's.
Here is a close up of the bow on the box, I wrapped both ribbons around the bow maker 3 times then tied them. When I pulled it off the dowels, I just fluffed the loops out and crunched it up a little more. I added 2 beaded stick pins to the bow made by Jessica at Pinque Peacock. On these pins I cut the tip off and used pliars to loop the bottom of them. I did this for two reasons, to keep the pins from coming out and to prevent stabbing. Also it made a perfect spot to hang the cute heart charm.
For the roses, I used textured purple paper and for the centers I used a pearlescent paper. I put a pearlescent clear pearl in the center then using the same hot glue I dripped some all over the roses to give the illusion of dew drops.
I bought nice black ink pens with flat bottoms and caps so the pens can be stored tip down and I had a flat surface to glue the roses to. I tied a green bow under each rose to simulate leaves.
Isn't it fun?! I think it's gorgeous! She didn't even realize at first that they were pens!
So very pretty, I also inked the edges with 2 different shades of purple ink for some depth.
Here's a few more shots of the bow and gorgeous pins!
Love, that purple bead!
This charm I've had forever, I just attached it with a silver jump ring for extra dangle.
Now, you can go shopping, click each photo to go buy the items I used to make this project. The pins were bought at the office supply store and are made by Uni ball.

This is really nice, and the shade of purple on the flowers in the middle pictures is just my favorite.
