Baby challenge

Better late than never right?  Today I'm finally sharing my post for this week's challenge at Eureka stamps. It's baby or pregnancy, so I used these two images.

This would be good for a new mother or mother to be, the phrase isn't exactly right but I think it says enough. :)

For this card I started with a 6 inch square card, added 3 1/2 inch squares of green plaid, topped by 3 inch squares of the baby words paper.

After I colored my image I cut it out and layered it on the green plaid then cut it out again.  I wish I'd used my Cameo's print and cut and offset features, makes it SO much easier, I still forget about that sometimes.

I then mounted the image on an action wobble to add some whimsy to the card.

On the inside I matted the phrase with the green plaid then topped it with a small piece of the baby words paper.  I really like how it turned out, a little different than I normally do, outside the box is good, keeps me from being too repetitive with my projects!
