Birthday wishes

How cute is this little dude?  Adorable, I think!
I used my Cameo (shocked?) to print and cut, I added a background pattern behind him, then used an image from the SIL store for the birthday cake.
I started with a piece of vellum and welded 2 circles to form my card base, I then cut a scalloped square to make the main easel base.  Way different than I normally do and a little over the top maybe but, what birthday shouldn't be over the top?
After I colored him in, I added crystal effects and some diamond glitter.  Once that was dry I lightly spritzed him with some shimmer spray to add to the sweating...lol, I love how it turned out.
I hope you like it, I just adore this bird and plan to use him a lot, the set came with a ton of phrases.  This would be fun to make a set of birthday cards as a gift for someone, they could have cards all year and they'd all be different.

Now on to the important stuff, I am playing along in the monthly challenge at fths,  I have just discovered this company and let me tell you, if you aren't familiar with her stuff, then click on the bird at the top of the post and look through the site, CA~UTE, I tel ya, CA~UTE!
Now, click here and check out the blog and you can see even more cuteness!!

I'm loving how this turned out as well. So cute…the extras you added to the candle really made this card shine!
