School time

Welcome to the SVG Attic-3 Girl JAM Back to School blog hop!  We are so excited to have you join us today!

At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the
creativity of the design teams of SVG Attic and 3 Girl JAM. You are sure to
find many wonderful projects that will be at the top of your crafting lists!

You should be arriving from Julie O.'s blog. If you happened
across this post out of order, please head to the SVG Attic blog to
start at the beginning of the hop.

Here is the project I created:

When we were told about this hop I was really excited, I will be homeschooling our daughter and we are in the process of turning our spare bedroom into a classroom.  Of course it needs decorations!
I used the Back 2 school set for the books and the apple.

How cute is that worm?  Makes me giggle.  I added a gorgeous bow using my bow maker and the Clover and Cocoa ribbons. I also used some sequins to add some shine to the apple and the leaf.

For this book I used the apple from the cupcake wrappers set.  I created a book mark using a cute heart button and the cool striped ribbon.
Inside I placed our bible verse flash cards and a cute book worm tag I cut from a piece of scrapbook paper.

For this book I used the school house from the cupcake wrappers set and made a book mark using the gorgeous sunshine and holly berry ribbons, I just tied a simple knot in the end.

Today is also my day to post for my Action Wobbles design team so I mounted the school house on an Action wobble.  It's so cute in person.
Inside this box I put our word builder letters.
The colors are SO pretty together.

Now for my favorite piece! I made a cute school teacher angel to watch over us while we learn!
She is supposed to be the Liberty Angel.  I left off some of the patriotic pieces and used cute girly papers.  I love her so much!
I gave her a pretty bow using the Aqua splash and orange ribbons and of course my bow maker.
For her hair I wrapped two different brown twines around paint brush handles, taped them in place and spread a thinned out white glue over them and dried them over night.  Her hair is perfect curls.
She's got a twine bow with a star button center as well as being attached using twine and buttons.
 Her shoes are so cute!
Here's her elbow joint to show how she's assembled.  There is a fabulous tutorial that I followed on the website.  You can click right under her information.
I hung her above the chalk board.  My dad helped Emily leave me a message after he hung the board for us. Silly man
Here's our book shelf so you can see the homes each piece was given.  We are both very excited for this adventure!

So fun to get to know you from this wonderful and very energetic post. You selected so many of our fun SVG Attic designs to create and share. You are one accomplished lady. Your daughter student is lucky to have you for a teacher. So pleased that you found a way to use the Liberty Angel design for this hop. Your version is very charming. So very fulfilling to see her (after all the time she took in designing and testing). Thank you, thank you.
