365 days of granny squares with YarnUtopia

Here are more of my granny squares...as you can see I still have a long way to go on some of the stitches, lol most of them come out really close to Nadia's but some still come out way off.  Some times I rip it all out and start over and other times I just leave it.  I still don't know what will become of these squares.  One of the ladies in the group did them all in the same colors and put them together into a blanket for her mother.  I wish I had thought that far ahead.
I have started using more of the same or similar colors now so I will have a good group that will match really well.  But on the other hand, we have a blanket my grandmother made that was obviously a stash buster, none of the squares matched so to speak, it is a fun colorful blanket.

These are closer pictures of the squares, there are a lot I will make again and others I hated doing the whole way!

They all look wonderful! Here's an idea for ya... Maybe you could make some blankets and donate them to a shelter.... When I worked at Joann Crafts... Lots of ladies would make blankets to donate to the homeless during those cold months... :) It's just a thought.... :)

Yep MIL used to get Any colours left over and make them into throws or blankets or even knee warmers. Look forward to seeing this beautiful all together.
