12 month of Christmas link up for May

 

Hello! It's time for a reminder of the challenge at the 12 months of Christmas link up!  

The theme for this month is non-traditional colors.  Below you will see the two options we had for papers to use and what will be up for grabs as the prize.

And, our wonderful sponsor gave us 3 images to work with.

 

First up is my card using Natalie

 Isn't she sweet? She's a fun one to color and I really like her because she reminds me of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls.  I loved them so  much when I was a kid.

Next up is the Bethlehem image I used

 For this card I used 2 of the multi papers from the set.  I printed my image onto a small square the size of the image and colored over that.  I did lower the transparency so the colors showed up a little lighter.  I like how there is the slightest hint of the pattern showing through my coloring.

And finally is the Nativity image.

I let my cameo cut out the image.  I colored it with my colored pencils.

I cut 3 stars using a shape in my SIL library and filled them with the Bokeh multi papers.
