QKR challenge, by the seaside

This week's challenge is by the seaside.  I chose the ship image and created a ship in the bottle card.
I found the ship in a bottle card in the SIL store and just used the bottle, placing my stamp image inside so to speak.
To create the water, I used 3 of my Tim Holtz ink pads to get the color right. I used a sponge dabber and swirled the color to mimic the rough ocean.
I used my colored pencils to add color to the ship. I pulled out a bird charm, for Jack Sparrow, the best pirate ever!! I also added two tiny shells to the ends of the ribbon.  For this I just put a dab of glue in the opening of the shell then used my dotting tool to push it inside.

So, will you play along this week? Click the button above to add your masterpiece!
