Close to my Heart Christmas

I've been hanging on to this paper for several years.
It's from Close to My Heart.
I added some of the class a peel stickers from my mom and used a one sheet wonder template for cutting the pieces.

You'll see more of the cards from this crafting session later, stay tuned.
I hope you are enjoying my marathon of Christmas cards.

Christmas extravaganza

This guy is more of those class a peels I've been using, colored with gel pens.

These are the rest of the cards from my one sheet wonder card making event.
The card above utilized the negative from the card below's Merry Christmas stickers.
I used a sponge and inked through the negative onto the card. I love how it turned out.

Poinsettia cards

These cards are more from the kits my mom gave me.  I love the antique look of these.
The papers I used with these cards are from Close to My Heart.

This week's theme is Christmas, I pulled out some papers from Close to my Heart for my background.
I let my cameo cut out my kitten and colored it with sharpies.

Butterfly slider

Decorate To Celebrate!

This is a file from the SIL store.
I love purple and yellow together.
I've been holding on to the flower center embellishments for a while. They are from Close to My Heart.

There was an assembly video attached to the file in the SIL store, so I used that technique instead of using pennies like I've used before.
I cut two circles from acetate with the idea that it will hold up better than card stock.  I used my crop o dile to punch a tiny foam dot to adhere the butterfly to the mechanism.

Aquarium fun

This is an adorable file from Creative Kuts.  This was a page from the July "train" program Cheryl has.

I started with some fun water looking paper for the background and built up from there.
I used CTMH papers for the background and the kids' clothes.
I made the little girl's boots match the shark, since she's pointing to him, he must be her favorite. ;)

Cheryl included water bubbles in the file but I used my liquid pearls and added more.  I also used my gel pens to add scales to the fish.

Christmas bulb greetings

The Cutting Cafe

I was invited to be a guest designer for The Cutting Cafe'
Today I get to share the amazing file,

CHRISTMAS BULB GREETINGS - TEMPLATE AND CUTTING FILE

For my first card, I made a simple card using some fun embellishments to add some pizzazz

I pulled out some of my favorite papers from Close to My Heart and layered some great patterns.

For my next card, I created a shaker card.  When I first saw this file, I loved the sample shaker cards.
I used tiny beads and some tiny gems and a little bit of glitter for the shaker items.
I made an o from fun foam and created a separate area in the JOY and placed red beads to make it stand out.

Have a sunny day

Decorate To Celebrate!

Hello there! This is a perfect card for today!
Summer time in Florida!
This is a file I got in the SIL store.
I pulled out some of my treasured Close To My Heart papers for this one.

I covered the jar with crystal effects then added a little bit of glitter over the heart.

For you book card

Decorate To Celebrate!

Come join us for another fun link up party!
This is a gorgeous file from Creative Kuts.

I love this fold.  It looks so complicated but it went together pretty quick!
I added some glitter to the flower for extra sparkle.
