Welcome to the It's my party blog hop~

we are excited to share our projects with you today! If you just happened to

find my blog, thank-you so much. However, so you don't miss awesome

projects or the chance to win blog candy, you will want to start at the

I'm excited to share with you my daughter's first birthday.  She's such an angel and it makes me sad in a way we will be celebrating her third birthday in September.  This year will be princesses she has informed me.
Here is a pic of our little angel face September 2010, man how time flies.
There are a lot of pictures, so sorry but I couldn't decide which ones to take out.
 Her birthday-day cupcake fun :)
I was a mean mommy, she had to get shots on her birthday, they didn't phase her for long, here she's tearing up the office while we wait :) I made her shirt, and you can imagine trying to get a picture of it was impossible.  The back says "It's my Birthday"
Birthday-evening cupcake, bath came right after this one :)
Her cake that I made, I bought the pan on Ebay and mixed the red icing, if you ever do red icing, make sure you buy the non-flavored red coloring by Wilton, the amount of coloring it took to get Elmo red would have made the cake inedible.  My first time decorating like this, it took me 2 days because my hand kept getting tired, that's a lot of piped stars. I love how it turned out
 Here's the princess's throne
Here we are together, man what a difference in both of us just a year and a half later
She did some good damage and loved every bit of it.
This balloon was her favorite and she played with him for months, yes he lasted that long.  She was so upset when he wouldn't stand anymore and we had to put him to rest.
 She's so much fun!!
And here is her table scape.  I didn't do a good job photographing the banner I made
Thankfully I kept it and pulled it out of the box so you can see how cute it is :)
I think I worked for about 2 months on the decorations and invitations, above is a close up of her name on the banner and below is her invitation.  I had so much fun with this cartridge, it's a party in a box!
This I just used on the table as a decoration, I wish I had made it bigger but it's so cute!
Here's the Happy and of course Birthday Emily followed but you get the idea right ;) I threaded it onto thin black satin ribbon.
And my favorite part of the decorations, was this fun reminder I added to the invitations.  I printed the words on the computer.  I still have it on the fridge and she will be 3 this September.
Time goes by way too fast, I apologize for all the photos, I used this opportunity to be reminiscent a bit.

Ready for the really fun part?
