Beautiful butterfly

Howdy Peacock fans, How are you on this beautiful spring day?
I am floating away on the spring breeze. ;)

Today I am using 2 more of the new release items from the hop this past weekend, aren't they pretty?  I love the colors! Right up my pallet so to speak.

The butterfly is a new die I bought at the convention a few weeks ago, I used aluminum foil! Yup, that's right. I tore off a piece about 16 inches or so then folded it until it was the size of the die giving me 8 layers of foil.
I ran it through my big shot and ran it back and forth about 4 times just to squish it really good.
After that I used my Copic markers to color right on the foil.  Cool right?
I took advantage of the hole in the center of the butterfly and attached it to my kraft layer with a matching brad, I did the same thing with the flower opening up the brad that holds it together and slipping it into the card.
I also used some washi tape to add some extra color, I love this one, the cute clouds and hearts. Then finished it off with the orange fabric covered button.
Thanks so much for stopping by, make sure you check out the shop, there are SO many new buttons and flowers, you will flip if you haven't seen them yet!

Marji this is gorgeous! You are so clever to use aluminum foil and copics. I love this idea. TFS~Mary M
