Happy birthday blog hop

I'm honored to be sharing a sweet crafty friend's birthday with her through this hop!

Its my birthday and I'll scrap if i want to, scrap if i want to. you'll scrap too when we're all thru.
I have asked a special group of scrappy friends to join me in celebrating my birthday with a blog hop .You are going to find a ton of inspiration among this talented group!
Here I am celebrating another birthday and turning a year older. I don't know if that is a good thing or not , but let's just celebrate and enjoy the day.
If you came from Lorrie then your in the right place. If you just happened at my place please start at the beginning with Rhonda  http://craftingwithblue.blogspot.com/so you don't miss a thing.
On to my project shall we..
I covered a small notebook I found at the Dollar Tree, it's got lined paper inside, perfect for notes or a journal.
This was offered by Unity during CHA as a bonus.  I colored it with pencils, I used my Cameo to cut and offset of the images.  The crochet flowers and the butterflies were colored by spraying them with alcohol then dripped reinkers directly on them. I let them dry over night then added them to the cover of the notebook.

I also added some red bling to the image and pen then added a fun pearl beaded stick pin by Pinque Peacock.

I also have a bonus project for your viewing pleasure, I have gotten bitten by the Vinyl Bug! I'm so hooked, since Treasure Box designs is one of the sponsors I wanted to make something with my favorite file and one of the first I ever bought from Dina.
This also ties into one of my design teams, The Pinque Peacock!  I know, he's not pink but I thought the colors that were in the finished sample were gorgeous so I tried to keep it the same.
When I saw this cup at CVS I immediately knew it was for my proud guy!
He blends right in like it was meant to be!!
This is by far my favorite cup I've made for myself!! I also added gems to his feathers using E6000 glue.
I had wash him so he doesn't peel or loose any gems.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my work. Please head on over to Georgiana; so you can see what she has made.
But before you go please finish reading so you know how to enter for the prizes.

Wow this project is stunning. Recently I've seen a lot of shabby chic pastel colours but you and Lorrie prove that bright colours can blow you away. Fantastic.
