The Rainbow Bridge~Pet Sympathy

Today I have a really simple and quick card to share.  It was one of the hardest cards I've had to make and took me a really long time.  I kept finding myself sitting here staring at the computer screen.
My sister had to send her precious fur baby to the Rainbow Bridge.  Whiskers was a fantastic personality.  She was my sister's shadow and best friend for over 15 years.

So what I did for her was to create this card using files from the SIL store.  I used the print and cut feature instead of cutting each piece.
I layered all the pieces using the software to color and size them.

I found the poem online and had to type it out, that was rough too.
I created a z fold easel card and used one of the adorable fabric covered buttons to hold it open.

Sympathy cards are really hard to make, I've never felt like they are ever enough, but this one I am pleased with how it turned out.  She appreciated it and that's what matters.
Rest in peace sweet Whiskers, keep my Tigger company until we are reunited again.
