Crafty Kit Club~July~Book box collage

Hello there, I had the pleasure of working with all of these glorious items this month.
I had a little help along the way, she painted the base coat and helped me embellish as well.
After the green paint dried, I coated the box with some crackle paint and once it dried I dry brushed pearl paint into the cracks so they showed up better.

Then I used a piece of teal glittered card stock and ran it through with this gorgeous embossing folder (also available in the shop) then trimmed around it.
I pulled out one of my Prima dolls and dressed her up. I used the lace to trim her dress and give her a shawl.

Isn't she pretty?  I also cut one of the flowers from the paper I used for her dress to put in her hair.

I used the green sparkle embossing powder to decorate the spine and music inspired paper for the pages and interior.
Emily designed the bottle cap and cut the tissue paper circles for the flowers. I love that little hanger.

This was a lot of fun.  I have a hard time with these type of projects but I am really pleased with how this turned out.  I was going to give it as a gift but now I'm not sure if I can part with it!
Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you will check out the Crafty Kit Club.

Marji, this is mega sweet! I love everything about it, but am really partial to the lace on her dress and shawl. .. Clever! Do glad Emily played too! You rocked it with this kit!
