August Release blog hop and Eureka Challenge

Fresh Brewed Deisgns

Happy Monday!!!  Woohoo!! NEW images and they are Mermaids!! I am such a huge mermaid fan, I even have my very own mermaid!!
Aren't I lucky?
Now, onto the real reason you are here, for the release I used 2 of the new images and created this fun wall hanging. I used a piece of foam core.
For the background I used my Tim Holtz ink pads and swiped 3 different colors across the board.  After it was dry I used a pearl spritz and blue spritz spraying the back ground.  I then turned the board allowing the heavier areas to run for extra texture.
I used my glitter gel pen to draw their scales in on their tails.  Aren't they amazing?  I love them!!
I used the little star fish surfer dude and cut him off of his board so he looked like he was under water too.
I used my crystal effects to put the sand down, and the shells.
Thanks for stopping by, be sure to head over to the blog (click the badge at the top) to see what everyone has made and to see all of the images!

Add a button is today's new challenge.  I chose to use the cute bunnies for my card, aren't they cute?
I used 2 fabric covered buttons from Pinque Peacock to hold the easel in place.
They yellow and orange dots on the front are home made by melting pony beads.

Oh Marji, look at your PRECIOUS little mermaid. She is beautiful. That made me smile. My little miss used to dress up as mermaids too. I miss those days. sigh

Your wall hanging is as fun as it is gorgeous. Love the sparkle and the sweet little seashells. I also love that you used the Surfing Starfish in with it too. It adds just the perfect amount of whimsy and fun!

Sending lots of smiles,
Heather
