Most of the projects I make are for design team posts, I don't get to make something just to make it, due to time constraints. So last weekend, I spent Mother's Day at my desk, getting ahead on some design team projects and made this just for me. I've really enjoyed watching the birds in the nest out my window, and they flew away the other day while I was at work. It made me sad that I didn't get to see them fly off and I keep looking at the nest hoping to see one sitting there but they've moved on to live their lives.
I made this piece to commemorate their time outside my window and hung it on the wall beside that window.
