Snowman

I got some acetate pictures and some glitter film.
I used my scallop ovals to cut them out and layer them.
I love the subtle sparkle and shine.

Snowman love

These are little treat and gift card holders, you could fit a packet of hot cocoa in the Olaf one, the others are a little smaller, perfect for a gift card and a candy cane or a candy bar.

A sweet treat

This month I purchased the image for the monthly challenge from From The Heart Stamps.  I love snowmen so much and for a doubly good reason, the challenge theme for the 12 month Christmas link up is Snowmen too!  So I'll be adding this card to both challenges.

Isn't he sweet?  I love his cute face.  I used crystal effects to adhere the glitter to the snow areas and the embossing powder to his hat and puffs.  I wanted the chunky look of the embossing powder so I did not melt it.

Tea light snowman

12 days until Christmas!!!!!
Getting closer and closer!!! :)
I  am very very excited, this Christmas I will be with my entire family, we haven't spent a Christmas up north in a very long time, so this year is even more special.

I first saw these guys in Split Coast stampers, that site is just as bad as Pinterest, you go in looking for one thing and hours later you are still there!

I bought the little tea lights that are battery operated, cut 3 scallops in graduated sizes and 2 circles to fit in the bigger scallops.

The scallops are attached to each other with brads to allow the telescoping effect.  I added some gems for holly berries and used my EK success bare tree punch for his arms.
Isn't he fun?
This is the original post I saw, thank you Darleen for a great idea.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a great day and let me know what you think of these cute guys.

Snow man box

Christmas Open House SVG Kit

15 days until Christmas!!!

Today I have an absolutely adorable snow man to share with you.  He's another fabulous project from SVG Cuts.  You can click the picture above to go buy your own.  Look at all the fabulous things you can make for just $6.99

I haven't had time to make the other pieces yet, hoping to get to them soon.  I just had to start here though.  Snowmen are my favorite Christmas and winter decoration.

His little hat lifts off and you can put some goodies inside and this would make a great gift.  He was pretty easy to put together as with all of Mary's kits.
Just another view to leave you with.
Thanks for stopping by, make sure you come back each day to enjoy the count down to Christmas with me!

Snowman photo ornament

This adorable snowman is a cut file from Creative Kuts
I made the snowman really big and used a standard size photo to cut to a 4 by 4  square.  This is to celebrate and remember Emily's first trip to the movie theater.  We saw The Lion King and she loved it!

25 days of Christmas- Snowman card

I used the Stretch your Imagination cartridge to make this adorable snowman card. I had to add google eyes to make him even cuter.  I added some silver glitter glue to some of the snowflakes just for some shine.
