I had a fun Saturday afternoon I was able to make it to a stamp class at a wonderful lady's house I met through Split Coast. We made 3 fabulous card you can see them all in my gallery on splitcoast . The card below is one of them. I stamped the tree after inking it with markers and spritzing the stamp. While the paper was stil damp from the inking I flipped it over onto a piece of mouse pad and used a roller ball embosser to rub out the areas of the tree. It doesn't show in the photo, but when you rub your finger over the tree you can feel the leaves. Very cool, if I do say so myself. Cerinda had intended us to do the cracked glass technique of embossing multiple layers of embossing powder over the entire image then after it is cooled in the freezer, bend and crack the embossing powder. Lots of mess and time, I wasn't willing to sacrifice the perfect tree I ended up with. :) This card below is one Barbara created for our next stamp class. I think it's gorgeous! It's the Time Well Spent hostess set. I love how she attached the ribbon. Justin will be flying out today. Please pray for his safe journey and return. He will be in Iraq for the next six months. Baileigh is going to miss her daddy and he will miss her first solo steps and her first birthday. It's sad.
