Welcome to my Tea party

Good day my beautiful Peacocks!! I hope you are all well, I'd like to offer you a spot of tea!

This is my inspiration, the very talented Thienly Azim created this gorgeous lamp.  Click the picture to head to her tutorial.

I fell in love with it immediately and set to work to re-create it.

I started with 2 DCWV paper stacks, The Delightful and Peachy Keen.  Don't ask me why I made 2, I guess I was feeling ambitious

I'm bad about reading directions so I started making the cups and tea pots, and after I made the lamp shade (from the original file) I realized I should have read her directions first and had some issues there.

But after chatting with her I figured out how to make it work.
My lamps are much bigger than her original...because I didn't read her instructions about resizing.
After all the hard work was done, then came the fun part, making them even more girly and pretty.  I added some 3 Girl Jam ribbon, some beautiful paper roses and of course some Beaded Stick pins from the Peacock shop.
I'm very proud of this piece in particular, I needed to create the sugar bowl, Thienly has on her lamp, but I didn't have that file set and couldn't buy it at the time. So I searched through my files and found an apple from the Miss Baker's Classroom.
I made it as it's intended, but glued the top and bottom together, and pushed in the top so it would sit flat.  You are looking at the apple upside down.  I added 2 handles from the tea cup and...done!
Here is the Peachy Keen set. After I realized my sizes were way too big I just made the sugar bowl as an accessory, candy dish in this case, holding yummy salt water taffy.
Here's more 3 Girl Jam ribbon and beaded stick pins and paper roses!!
Surprisingly this one is my favorite!  I know "shocker" right?  As much as I've used  The Delightful stack this year!  These colors are just so pretty together.
I love the trim I found for the lamp shade on this one, so cool.
See what I mean, this one's pretty but the Peachy Keen is just gorgeous!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you will let me know what you think!
(I've no idea what I will do with them when I'm sick of looking at them on my Sofa table)
LOL, I'm a mess
