I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. We had a fantastic day, even though I miss my extended family, it was a fairly quiet day with just my parents and Emily and Steve.
Emily got a huge Princess dream castle doll house so she was occupied most of the day. I'm really shocked how long she sat and played, long, long stretches!
On to my project, This was the card I made for my parents. I sat a battery powered tea light between the layers, it fit perfectly. I love the look. After I signed it I realized how plain the left side looked so instead of putting my swirl and pin on the front I added it here.
Once I placed and looked over the card again I realized it was a better choice, since the majority of those seeing it will not see the front. This is a file you can purchase through the SIL store. I used CTMH paper and my Cameo to cut it.
Surprise!! Second project, I had to add this in, my parents surprised me with the Zink Happy printer, it's this new, adorable little printer that connects to a smart phone through wi fi and prints pictures, there's all kinds of text, and images, frames and backgrounds you can add to the pictures and they print from this neat ink less roll of paper AND it cuts them for you at the perfect place. There is a part of the app where you can make a bigger picture from the small strips, that's what I did here.
My nephew, his wife and their baby who will be born in March. He is a border patrol agent so I wanted to hide his face a bit, not sure how he'd feel about me plastering him all over blog world.
I used some Christmas pattern paper from CTMH then used a cute snowman button to accent my swirl, I SO love these ribbon swirls with the 3 Girl Jam ribbons, and finished it off with a beautiful beaded stick pin. LOVE the star!
I created the title here all using the ZINK and it's content. This is the 2 inch roll of paper, you can cut longer or shorter also, it's just so fun.
Thanks for stopping by, if you want to shop you can click the links and have fun, I'm sure you have some Christmas money to spend! :) Don't forget to stop by the blog if you haven't been lately and see what the rest of my design team sisters have been up to.
