Bookmarks and pencil cup

3 Girl JAM

Hey there! I'm sharing  a few more school supplies projects with you!
I'm going crazy with school projects and decorations!
I created a couple of bookmarks using free files from Little Scraps of Heaven designs, then used my 3 Girl Jam ribbons to created pom poms for them instead of tassels.
Love them!!
I've made quite a few of these pencil cups, it utilizes the end of the roll from duct tape.  When I first started making duct tape wallets I hated to throw the roll away when it got to the end, the tape is so pretty, it seemed such a waste, so I knew I'd find something to do with them eventually and saved them all.
All you do is either tape or glue 2 together then I create a tape sheet for the bottom and tape it in place inside on the bottom.  For this one I used the pretty die cut lace to hide the seam.

This month the special ribbon is

Caribbean Splash

For my project I used the Clover and the Holly Berry

New duct tape wallet

First of all, Merry Merry Christmas!!!!  I hope you have a fabulous day, get lots of love and hugs from family and friends.  Don't eat too much.

Did you know the Duck brand duct tape has a website and a club? I'm such a geek, but you can see all the patterns and colors there, find where to buy them and look up projects.
I found this project there, I created 3 strips of tape, using snow men, gingerbread men and red.  I then created a gold bow.  To attach the clothes pins, I cut small slits in the tape strips, slid them in and taped them on the back to secure.  Doesn't hold many cards but it seems that each year I get fewer and fewer, so it will work.  I think it's really cool and I may make an every day version and keep some of my favorite photos on it and some of the cards I make through out the year to display.

I saw the red and white polka dots out of the corner of my eye walking through Lowes one day and had to have it! It's a Scotch brand not Duck.
Don't ask why, but I thought the zebra and the polka dots would be fabulous together and as I was making it decided on adding the gold.
I think it is fabulous!! What do you think?

25 Days of Christmas

Day 9

Today I'm sharing a gift I made for my niece.
I'm so addicted to making these rubber band bracelets.  Her favorite colors are blue and yellow and her high school colors are blue and white.
Her wallet is her favorite character, penguins, she's a senior this year, can't believe she's almost heading off to college! So proud of her.
Head over to Debbie to see what she's made for you today.

More Duct Tape wallets and my little witch!

I'm having so much fun making these wallets, I'm taking orders and it's awesome to share my crafting with others.
Aren't they cute? I love putting together the different combinations
I have to share my daughter's costume.  I made it again this year and love how it turned out.
Here she's taking off on her broom, lol
She's cracking herself up! (she does that a lot, she's a riot)
Flying away on her magic broom
Heading off to trunk or treat at a near by town
My "Wicked witch of the East" had a great Halloween!
I've been working on some of my own designs, I don't want to just keep copying other's work.
This is a small card and receipt keeper.

I love the owls and peacocks, my 2 favorite tapes.
This is the one I am using right now, it's got a nice real zippered coin pouch, 2 accordion areas to hold receipts or bills and 2 what they call hidden pockets and a velcro flap closure.

I'm entering this in the anything goes linky party with Craftin desert diva's

Duct tape obsessed

I have found a new craft, as if I needed another one! lol
I'm a mess, but this is so fun and I love how functional it is.

This is a small clutch purse, the photo above shows the back, there is a small zip lock pouch there.
The front flap is secured with a velcro closure.  All sticky is covered so none of your things will get stuck in the crevices.
I added a card pocket inside that will hold at least 3 cards, ID, credit card...
This is what the inside of the zip lock pouch looks like on the back.

I've made several styles of wallet but this is my favorite, I will post more in a future post.
This was a special order request from a friend. She is giving these to her co-workers for Christmas.  I love that idea, you always worry about picking things for people that they don't already have, well you can be pretty sure this will be a one of a kind gift.

I do take special orders, you can message me here or on face book.

My dad asked me for a pouch to carry with him to keep his daily receipts in.  He's had a plastic one for years and it's starting to deteriorate.  I hope this one lasts him for many years.
There is a font at dafont.com that has the automotive logos, I cut the Ford logo in vinyl then applied it to the duct tape.
There is a real zipper closure, nice and secure.  I chose this color because my dad has a 1986 Ford F150 that he loves, this is the color of the truck, and he also has a van that is close to this color.
He loves it! (pat on the back, good daughter points)

So, I'd love to hear if you've ever made anything OR if you'd like me to make you some.
