I am sharing a fun new set from SVG cuts with you, I LOVE S'more's and this set is just so cute, I couldn't resist.

I just got my first set of Jaded Blossom stamps too and it just happens to be their new S'more set!
The first pic is a teaser huh, it shows the inside of the S'mores box, a gift card fits perfectly.
And this is a side view of the fire box, how cute is that?! I love the shape of it, Mary is so clever with her files, those little touches are so neat.
This is the back side of my camper box, I know, I'm driving you nuts right?  hee hee
Here is the back of the camper, complete with tail lights and license plate.
The paper I used on this is the DCWV Enchanted.  I've had this pad for a long time and wanted this set to look rustic and almost camouflaged.  And I think it worked! You'd never know the bottom of the box was mermaid paper and the camper was a sunset and grape vines.
And now, what you've been waiting for!!  Isn't it great?  I also used my distressed stripes embossing folder to emboss parts of the camper for that siding look.
I added another sentiment from the Jaded Blossoms set on my marshmallow and some gems and inking on the edges.
So last of all, here is my S'more box, good enough to eat almost huh?
I hope you had fun on our little camp out, now head over to Dorothy to see what she's cooked up for you!!

It's a fowl-bulous day

Our Kreative Karma

How owl some are these pillow boxes! I just love them. This was a free file from Creative Kuts this past week. Are you playing along each week?
If you don't have a cutting machine to join us and don't want to cut by hand I have a new feature at my Face book page. I will cut the pieces and send them to you. It's $2.50 per file. I'll even let you tell me what colors you want ;)
For the weekly free files you will have to post your completed project on the CK fan page since those are the rules for everyone else.
Check out the other files I have up in my fan page. I'll be adding more as I get the chance but if you have any files from Creative Kuts you want let me know.

Aren't these the cutest?  I just love them!!

Maison de Madeline SVG Kit

Our Kreative Karma

Hey Karma peeps and pups,
Today I am sharing  my project using the Maison de Madeline SVG Kit from SVG cuts.

I again used the, can you guess, The Delightful paper stack from DCWV, I'm not going to appologize for using it again, lol I just love it!!

I got a shipment of 3 Girl Jam ribbon, I bought the boat load bundle, lol, I got all the colors and love them all so much, I need to sell some stuff so I can buy more before I use up a color!
Anyway, before I get side tracked, I used my flash so you could really see the colors, isn't this so pretty?  The roses are paper and match perfectly!! I love when a project goes together so seamlessly.
I used my bow maker from 3 Girl Jam to do these layered bows, so easy and fast, no fumbling with the ribbons at all!
Thanks for stopping by, if you haven't seen the Maison de Madeline SVG Kit click here and the link will take you right to it.

I really enjoyed these projects, they are pretty simple, up next on my agenda is to use Leo's idea and change what's on the shade, SO many possibilities! I can't wait!
Let me know what you think, I really love your feedback!

Our Kreative Karma-owl pillow box

Our Kreative Karma

Today is my day to share with you, I saw these owls on Pinterest and have been collecting fun cup cake wrappers ever since, I found this file on the Silhouette store site an knew it would be perfect, the less I have to fabricate myself, the better lol

So I cut the pieces using a double sided piece of paper (partly because I was feeling lazy and partly because I knew it would match)
I just flipped the wings, center eye pieces and beak over so the back of the paper shows.  I inked the edges with orange ink and assembled.

I chose 3 different cupcake wrappers, folded them in half using 2 of each pattern then glued them to the front of my owl.
I finished her off with some teal google eyes and I really love how she turned out!!

So whenever cupcake wrappers are on sale, I'll be buying them, there are SO many cute ones out now!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great day and please let me know what you think of my cutie!

Our Kreative Karma~Dr Who gift set

Our Kreative Karma
Today I am thrilled to share with you one of my current favorite projects!!

A lot of us joined in on the "pay it forward" crafting drive that went around at the beginning of the year.  The way it worked was I posted the pledge on my wall to make something special for 5 people and they promised to do the same for 5 more...so for one of the ladies who signed up under my post I made the following:

I saw this stack of paper at Joann's called The District and immediately thought of Dr. Who so of course I knew who I'd make this for! She is a big Dr. Who fan and talks about the show a lot.  I personally have never watched it but just from her posts and the bits I've seen I was hoping this would pass.
This card is ALL paper!!  It's all from this one stack.  I decided to try my hand at collage since Dr. Who is a little out of the norm.  The clock, bike and lamp post are mounted with foam tape.
You can see the dimension in this picture.
This box is a file I got from the Silhouette store.  I made 2 and glued them together.  If you look closely you'll see the key drawers and window drawers are opposite, I purposely turned the paper so when she puts her trinkets in she can remember which is which...hopefully anyway.  The clock paper I had to keep the same direction because, well, clocks can't be upside down in my opinion.
This is how the card looks being displayed, another easel card, they are so much fun and since this was being mailed in a box along with the chest of drawers I went a little bigger with the embellishments and I have to say I love how it looks!
Here's a closer look at the inside.  I used some 3 Girl Jam ribbon and their bow maker (so cool) and added a cute angel sick pin from Pinque Peacock.  I added a little plastic cap on the pin so she doesn't get stabbed and if she wants to she can remove it and wear it on her lapel.
I tried to pay attention to detail as best I could since I was sending this to a fellow crafter, I used the pretty clock paper on the back of the box to make it look more like one piece.
And my favorite part of the project...I'm telling you, you must try this ribbon! It's so soft and easy to use.  sigh... and the beaded stick pins are just gorgeous! I can't get enough of either!

Mixing up some love

Our Kreative Karma

Today I am sharing a fun shaped card with you. I got this SVG file at the Silhouette store.

This was a lot of fun to make.

I used a Pink by Design stamp set for the tags, it's the Fresh Goodies set.  I used some kraft colored twine and my mini stapler to attach it.  The mixing bowl is attached with foam tape so I can easily tuck the tags into the bowl.
How fun is this?  And how awesome would it be to make someone a card and use the color of their mixer...(wink wink)  I know what color I will be making next.
The cute little phrase bundle is a fun way to do a message.  The Happy cake day is from Joy's Life, yummy puns set. And the way I made this it could be for a birthday or anniversary I think.
The inside is simple and to the point.  The phrase is from the PBD set Illuminate.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you will let me know what you think.

Our Kreative Karma Spring box

Our Kreative Karma

The challenge theme I am going with is pastel colors, this is one of my favorite pallets.

Gearing up for Spring!  I just love this paper and SO wish I had 100 sheets of it, so since I only had one, I chose to use it for this adorable box, that way the recipient will be told to reuse it or give it back...just kidding

This will be perfect for any spring birthday gift AND for Mother's day, it's right around the corner!
Intead of making it a traditional take out box I just used brads to attach the sides together.  They are sweet little corduroy brads.
This box can be found in this kit at SVG Cuts.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like this and will leave me some love.

Buzzing by

Our Kreative Karma
How cute is this set?  I am so hooked on paper piecing, I rarely ink a stamp anymore.
For those of you that really know me, you know how odd that is for me!
I just think these are so adorable and they went together really easy and with a little ink and a white gel pen the personality just pops.

This little guy is a pocket card.

I had a lot of fun with this card, I added some yellow twine, I've seen a lot of people tying little knots in the end strings so I've copied that, it's so cute.

I cut an extra bee head and wings and put him in the inside for a little surprise.

And of course, the bee is on an action wobble :)

http://www.myscrapchick.com/ is where you can find this paper piecing set.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you will let me know what you think of this.

Our Kreative Karma

I am sharing my latest afghan with you.  I am so in love with this blanket, I love the colors, that it actually came out square and the look of the stitch.
So I'm very excited to have an outlet to show it off to more than just family :D

I used Red Heart yarn, Ocean, Monet and Watercolor.  all 3 are are a variegated yarn and originally I couldn't decide which one to go with and realized they all had the same colors in them and used all three to satisfy myself.

I lost track of how many skeins it took, my guess is close to 20.  The sea shell stitch takes a lot of yarn.  I used cream to do an edge around the whole thing and it fits my bed perfectly!! (King size)

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you will keep up with us Karma girls because we have some great things in mind to share with you.  Everyone is so talented and so caring!!
