This is a file from the SIL store, I laid it all out on one sheet then cut the file out from 4 different papers, then mixed them all up to create the cards.

I really love the poem, it makes for a really pretty card.  I kept the pin loose so she will be able to remove it and wear it on her clothes.

Isn't this button pretty?  I really love that fabric.

The pastel pearl pins are so elegant, love them.

MFT Camping cards

I love that My Favorite Things has a boutique close by. It's so fun to go each month and get to see and play with a lot of the new products.  I will never be able to afford everything I love there so this is a way to indulge. 

Besides, Jody is so talented, she adds the small details to cards I'd never think to do.

How cute is this camper?  I LOVE it and it's close to the top of my wish list. 

I used foam dots to pop it off the card.  How great is that tree line?  We had a kraft layer and a green layer, we cut the tree tops off from the green layer and used a brown Copic to color just the trunks of the trees then glued the green tops in place. 

I love this one too, shoot, I love everything we've ever made in one of Jody's classes, I guess you could call me a groupie! lol

Anyway, this tree line was done like the card above but we had 2 different colors of green.

check out that stitching around the blue layer, that is a die they have, perfect card front rectangle and stitching already done! So fabulous.

The matching stamp sets are wonderful, the phrase and stars came from there.

Look at that fire, there is the crossed log, a single log to add dimension and 2 fire pieces, They think of everything with these die cuts.  Look at the tent, the opening flaps, are separate!  Not a detail left out!

MFT sweet flowers

I'm late sharing these cards, they were 2 of the cards we made in the new release class from My Favorite Things last month.  How fabulous is that flower over lay on the card above, so fantastic!  I love the simplicity of it and how intricate it looks.

This sweet girl is just precious.  Reminds me of my Emily with that cute hair do.

Isn't she fabulous.  Jody helped me give her a tan, she was looking a little peekish, lol, I still need so much practice with the Copics.

25 Days of Christmas, day one~

For the 25 days of Christmas blog hop we will be posting a Christmas themed challenge everyday from December 1st to December 25th. Challenges will range from things such as create a Christmas card, make a homemade gift, stocking stuffers, ornaments, favorite recipe, etc. Throughout the challenges we here at Scrappykins will be doing random prize drawings for people who participate in the challenge that day as well as a grand prize drawing to be announced in the next few days. For every challenge you complete, you get an entry into the grand prize drawing. So, if you complete all 25 challenges your name will be entered into the grand prize drawing 25 times.

I can not believe it's December 1st already! It just doesn't seem possible!

I am really excited once again for Christmas, having a small child brings all the magic back into things.

 This is the first year that Emily has wanted to sit on Santa's lap.  She has actually sat on his lap twice and is so very proud of herself for talking to him.

I started to make a brand new~never seen here before~ card for today but changed my mind and wanted to share these again.  These are by far my favorites I've made in a long time.

I love the little gifts that pop out when you open the card, so fun!

 I love hot chocolate, so that's part of why this is in my top favorites, but the possibilities with this one are pretty broad as well.  All of the different papers, and you can add a gift card along with some gourmet hot chocolate and you've got a card and gift! check that one off your list ;)

We can't forget the reason we are all here.  This baby Jesus is one of the cutest out there.

I made a card with the new Shepherd as he waits in the fields with his sheep.

I added a beautiful swirl from Pinque Peacock using 3 Girl Jam ribbons.

Creative Kuts treats!

 These went together pretty fast and I love their personalities! Super cute right?

 This guy is my favorite!  I added some chocolate covered raisins and peanuts (reindeer poo)

 Isn't he sweet? Love that face!

This is off topic but I wanted to share it with you, this was the BAP file from 2 weeks ago, When I made my original card, I never cleaned off the cutting mat because...

This is what was sitting there!  So I added glue to all the pieces right on the mat and laid my card on top, after burnishing really well and leaving it for about an hour (extra safe) I carefully peeled off my card and I had a perfect mirror image negative! Cool right?

I sprayed the whole card with shimmer mist then added a purple gem to the spider, to finish, I just tied on some twine and a cool button.

Heart Strings

This is a file from the SIL store, I am so into the overlay look, I love that you can make a super fast card and still make a big impact.  This one is really great with the peak through hearts.

I made both of these cards the same just used different colors for the main card.

Give Thanks cards

Cheryl has been going to town on these fun new overlays she's coming up with some fantastic looks.

How awesome is this?  A super fast and fabulous Thanksgiving card.  

 I did some quick inking on the edges, added a few gems and some Trendy Twine! That's it, super easy and fast.

Pretty right?  

Close to my Heart convention part 3

Day 3 of  my convention share posts,  These are the cards we made at the final creative session.

These are the new spinner cards and they are SO fun, the possibilities with these are endless!!

We were given enough supplies to make 2 of each design but I decided to use my extra pieces to decorate the inside so the fun showed through the window.

The paper strips were scalloped using our NEW scallop border punch!

Here's a little motion, you can see how the gift spins, so fun!!

This card is so pretty, I'm loving the new paper sets!

On this one I stamped the thank you opposite for the back so when it spins the colors change

This card shows how you can still use the spin card but make it stationary by placing a strip of paper over top of it then adding another circle to the top of that.

I added some bling!
