Look Who's 4!!

I am really enjoying this new cartridge!  So many fun things you can do!

I used some funky papers for this page!

They are from my stash, just random stuff and scraps.  The only full sheets I used were the background piece, overlay piece and frames.  The rest is all scraps that's why the mats in the frame don't match exactly but the photos will cover them mostly.
Anyway, my point being, use your scraps, have fun!
I haven't done any of her other birthdays but I've got a page made for this one coming up next month! lol, I'm such a kook. I love the eyelid google eyes, so fun.
Thanks for stopping by and click the bundle photo above to order your own cartridge and have fun!

From masculine to girly!

Keep calm and peacock on!

This is a fun page! I hope you agree.  Do you check the sale area of the CTMH site often?
I don't do it very often because I always end up buying stuff! lol
This last time I checked I found the background paper I used here in a bulk pack for pennies per page! and LOTS of embellishments for cheap!
I cut the frame from the Artbooking cartridge and discovered as I was deciding how to cover up the very manly image on the paper that the star on the paper lined up perfectly with the center star on the frame! Ha, love when creative things happen like that!  And you can see my pretty lace flower and button I added,  The two stars on the end are cork stickies (new in this catalog) They also fit perfectly!
I used the border piece I cut off to make flags and help with the design of the page, I got some of the canvas button stickies as well and stamped right on them with Cocoa ink!  This flower from Pinque Peacock matched great so I took it apart, added the center flower and brad to the top of another canvas button and put the flower back together!  OH, check out that cute tiny cork arrow at the top! LOVE those!!
The flower, arrow and I heart you are all cut from the Artbooking cartridge.  Too cute right?  There is also a strip of the glitter tape (LOVE that stuff) and a canvas tag added to the bottom.  I used a white gel pen to add their names and the date!

You can click the photo of the Artbooking bundle and head right over to my site and shop till you drop!  You might get lucky and be able to get this paper and tags there still on sale!

Artbooking mini album on a scrapbook page!

My Close to my Heart site

Only a few more days until you can order your very own copy of the NEW ARTBOOKING cartridge!!!  Leave me a comment or pm me through facebook, if you order it TODAY then you will get from me, a FREE catalog (the brand new one), FREE shipping on your order (making your total $99 plus tax) AND I will buy the August Stamp of the Month for you as well!!

It's all about chocolate!! How cute are those stamps?!  I love it and can't wait to get my own!

Now on to today's project, I've been having fun with this cartridge and have several projects cut and in different stages of completion, I've just been so excited I can't keep my head on straight.  There's so much you can do with this cartridge!
Well, a few months ago my beloved Peppermint Expression went to the  resting place for Cricuts :(  So I only have my Imagine now...not all bad, I printed the overlay for this page instead of cutting it! Yes, you can print only any shape!! love this!!

The paper collection I am using here is the Chantilly, it is in the new catalog so it's something you could add to your pre order if you'd like, anything you add to a pre order will get free shipping from me as well!!

For the title, I cut it then layered it on a piece of dp and traced around it with one of my pens to make it really pop!.  I added some beautiful paper butterflies and little pearls.  That border you see there is from one of the sheets, I always trim them off and save them, they come in handy for little additions to different projects.
Here is the mini album on my page, I used the seam binding to attach it to the page.  I punched holes in the over lay piece before adhering it to the pink background piece.  I try to always use the back of my pages to reduce the thickness of my albums so I didn't want to have holes in that piece.
Anyway, on to the album itself.
Since I'm not sure what photos will go on here I kept it simple, I can always add more embellishments when I add the photos.
I am so in love with this paper! I love paisley prints a lot! I've got a stack of just different paislies that's probably over an inch thick.

Super simple an so very pretty!!  I need to find the RGB codes so I can match my prints with the papers perfectly, but I think I did pretty good on this match just eyeballing it!  If you have the link to the CTMH RGB codes I'd love if you'd share it!

Thanks so much for stopping by, leave me a comment to let me know what you think of this idea! Also if you want me to contact you to pre order your cartridge.  I will send you an invoice through paypal, place the order on August 1st then ship it on to you!  It will go straight to your house from CTMH so you will get it with in a week!

Close to my Heart convention part 3

Day 3 of  my convention share posts,  These are the cards we made at the final creative session.
These are the new spinner cards and they are SO fun, the possibilities with these are endless!!
We were given enough supplies to make 2 of each design but I decided to use my extra pieces to decorate the inside so the fun showed through the window.
The paper strips were scalloped using our NEW scallop border punch!
Here's a little motion, you can see how the gift spins, so fun!!

This card is so pretty, I'm loving the new paper sets!
On this one I stamped the thank you opposite for the back so when it spins the colors change

This card shows how you can still use the spin card but make it stationary by placing a strip of paper over top of it then adding another circle to the top of that.
I added some bling!

Don't forget my offer for the pre order of the new Artbooking cartridge, I'm offering you FREE shipping, a Free catalog/idea book AND a FREE August Stamp of the month set!!!  All for the $99 price plus tax
Send me an email or a pm through face book today!

Close to My Heart convention part 2

Welcome to day 2 of my fun weekend of convention.  There were so many beautiful things that were shared with us.

Today I want to share a few of my favorites.  I can not wait to get one of these frames in my house!! We were given so many great tips and tricks for these to use them all year long! There is a great kit in the new catalog that gives you all you need to get started for around $40! Amazing value!

One tip I will share with you is use hook and loop tape to adhere the pieces to your frame, that way when you want to change it, just pop off the old and push on the new!!

These are going to be SO fun!!! We got to make the necklace in the new Base and Bling line, it's another great value kit, includes all you need to make a gorgeous necklace!
You can use the new textiles and the base and bling elements to make the perfect accessories to any outfit, young or old will look great sporting these!!

This wreath was breath taking!  All paper! How amazing is that?
And remember, I have the special pre order deal going on, send me an email or pm me through face book.  For just $99 you will get the Artbooking bundle shown below, a new catalog idea book and the August stamp of the month (which is super cute and very yummy) all included in your $99 bundle price AND free shipping!!!
