Sand Castle album

I've been wanting a sand castle album for a long time and Cheryl finally made one for me! lol

I used cereal boxes for the pages and covered each one with sand scrapbook paper. I bought 3 different designs of paper, the sand with the footprints in it, the sand with shells and a shell paper.

I added some real shells to the cover along with some pearls.

Do you love it?  I sure do!

Hangin out! mini album

I'm loving this album! I turned a fall project into a girly project.

This is the Little Miss paper again from DCWV, I've used a whole stack so far, might have to go buy another just to be safe

This paper is all just so pretty! I didn't add any mats or embellishments yet since I'm not sure which pictures I will use.  But it will be perfect for a wide range of events!

The Stamping Chef~anything but a card challenge

                         Dance Recital

This is part of a paper bag album I made for my daughter.  She took a dance clinic this past spring, it was just 8 weeks, they did Ballet, Tap and Tumbling. And had so much fun.

We plan to enroll her in regular classes this fall, she had a really good time

 The insert in the show pulls out and there are two photos there, the little bags, I'm using as spaces for mini albums or tag photo frames.

 This is what the cover looks like, I'm going back and forth about adding her name to the front so that's why it's a bit blank.  A sweet friend sent me the set of tags and 3D flowers I used.

 And, here is where TSC comes in.  I was looking through the shop and saw her and immediately knew I needed her for Emily's book! Isn't she stunning?  I can just picture this to be Emily one day!

It's all about chocolate!! How cute are those stamps?!  I love it and can't wait to get my own!

Now on to today's project, I've been having fun with this cartridge and have several projects cut and in different stages of completion, I've just been so excited I can't keep my head on straight.  There's so much you can do with this cartridge!

 Well, a few months ago my beloved Peppermint Expression went to the  resting place for Cricuts :(  So I only have my Imagine now...not all bad, I printed the overlay for this page instead of cutting it! Yes, you can print only any shape!! love this!!

The paper collection I am using here is the Chantilly, it is in the new catalog so it's something you could add to your pre order if you'd like, anything you add to a pre order will get free shipping from me as well!!

For the title, I cut it then layered it on a piece of dp and traced around it with one of my pens to make it really pop!.  I added some beautiful paper butterflies and little pearls.  That border you see there is from one of the sheets, I always trim them off and save them, they come in handy for little additions to different projects.

 Here is the mini album on my page, I used the seam binding to attach it to the page.  I punched holes in the over lay piece before adhering it to the pink background piece.  I try to always use the back of my pages to reduce the thickness of my albums so I didn't want to have holes in that piece.

Anyway, on to the album itself.

 Since I'm not sure what photos will go on here I kept it simple, I can always add more embellishments when I add the photos.

I am so in love with this paper! I love paisley prints a lot! I've got a stack of just different paislies that's probably over an inch thick.

 Super simple an so very pretty!!  I need to find the RGB codes so I can match my prints with the papers perfectly, but I think I did pretty good on this match just eyeballing it!  If you have the link to the CTMH RGB codes I'd love if you'd share it!

Close to my Heart convention part 1

I had the extreme pleasure of attending my very first convention for Close to my Heart!!!  

It was right here in my own back yard so to speak, at Disney World, so I HAD to go, I couldn't let it be this close to me and miss out!

So, it was a complete whirl wind of beautiful people, projects and fun!
