Cute and Classy

I've got more Christmas for you...I love crafting for Christmas, it's my favorite by far.
So I thought I'd share a few more of my projects and maybe inspire you to start early this year.

This is an image from The Stamping Chef, isn't she gorgeous?

Fun penguin ornament, the twine is just taped to the inside of the card so it can easily be removed and placed on the tree.

I love the little jar of sparkle.  I found a bunch of different ones at our Dollar Tree, glitter, slivers and beads, so fun for cards.

These ornaments are designed by Cheryl at Creative Kuts, if you aren't part of the group you are missing out on a lot of files, a lot of them freebies!!

I'm adding this to the 12 Months of Christmas card link up

I'm such a hot mess

I still need lots of practice with my Copics and I love using The Stamping Chef girls for practice.  Hair and skin are the hardest for me.  I love how her dress turned out.

Knowledge is power

This is an image from The Stamping Chef.  I'm a huge owl fan if you didn't know, so when I saw this I knew I had to have it!
I chose to use the jute ribbon and create an awareness ribbon.  I used the tan color to make it a neutral ribbon, just general awareness.
The pin in the center is one I created from beads I had in my stash.  The spotted feather is a real feather I picked up, (it's another thing I collect)  The other feathers are from a file I had in my SIL program.  The leaf is a die cut from My Favorite Things I had left over from a class I took.  I added a strip of glitter washi tape to the bottom.

Here is the link to the jute ribbon

Day of the Dead...

These cards are much different than my normal style, I really like being in the groups for Simply Betty and The Stamping Chef.
I was on the TSC design team for a short term, her images really make me move from my comfort zone, I enjoy the challenge.

These were two challenges ran the last week of October...I barely got them done in time and have just found a non-dt spot to post them. ;)

The embellishments are from CTMH, the papers are the paper studio.  I still need serious help with hair and skin, but these were fun to do.  This was a monochromatic challenge.

Did I go too dark on this one?  lol  I seriously had a total blast on this.  We had to use this image, gauze and cotton.  I used my shimmer mists to color the gauze.  Her skin is a little flat, I need another shade of that green family to make her more 3 dimensional.

A special gift for you

This little dude is super cute! I colored him up with my copics and added some highlights with my glitter gel pen and some glitter on the acorn cap.  Adorning with some Trendy twine, washi and buttons.

Take a selfie and Live life with Porpoise

Action Wobble

Today I have a pretty card to share with you.
I still need lots of practice with my Copics, but I am pretty happy with this card.
The background is from The Stamping Chef, the girl and sentiment are Simply Betty

How fun is this sentiment?  This was designed for the artist's sister who always takes selfies.  How cool would it be to have your sister draw YOU and make a digital stamp for you.  So cool.
 Here she is in action.

Oh my gosh! I totally thought I posted this! eep!!
This was the card I made for our recent birthday card challenge, I'm so embarrassed

This is an image from Imagine That.  I added the gorgeous bow using my bow maker to get it perfect!

Seeing "Tink" in a whole new light, lol, this is a The Stamping Chef image.
Isn't she wonderful?  Cracks me up
Then you open the card and bust out laughing...

The Stamping Chef~anything goes challenge

Welcome to a new challenge at The Stamping Chef!  We've added a few new girls to the team and we are now dividing up the challenges! So make sure you check out the blog to see the new projects from the "new blood"
I have so much fun with these images, I love how realistic they are.  I'm so used to only using cute images and cartoony type designs, It's so great to expand my skills.
I'm really liking this textured paper too with my pencils.  After I colored her I sprayed her with shimmer mist.  I mounted her on some cool celestial paper and made an easel card for her.
Gorgeous right?  I used my beautiful paper roses to keep the card open.  Make sure to head over to the blog to see what everyone has done and join in on the fun!

The Stamping Chef~Easel card challenge

I used Fairy Nuff for my card today.

Isn't she gorgeous?  I love her.  I printed and cut using my Cameo then colored her with  my pencils.
I added some pearls and some gorgeous embellishments from Pinque Peacock
I sprayed the image with shimmer mist after I was done coloring her and added a gem stone to her belt.
She is mounted on an action wobble so she appears to flutter above the flowers

Love her! Won't you join us in this challenge by making an easel card?
